As our Operations Assistant, you'll be the operational backbone of the team — coordinating schedules, managing job entries, supporting our maintenance technicians, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. This is a work-from-home position, but you must be located in the Huntsville metro area, as occasional on-site visits to properties for final inspections will be required.

What You'll Do:
- Schedule and coordinate jobs, ensuring technicians are dispatched efficiently and timelines are met.
- Create and manage work orders and job entries in our CRM system.
- Conduct final inspections at properties to verify work quality and completion when needed.
- Handle purchasing of materials and supplies for jobs, tracking costs and delivery.
- Enter and maintain accurate data across our systems, keeping records organized and up to date.
- Communicate regularly with maintenance technicians to relay job details, updates, and expectations.
- Serve as a point of contact for scheduling changes, job updates, and follow-ups.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks or issues and suggest practical solutions.

- Strong communication skills — you're clear, professional, and comfortable speaking with techs, vendors, and clients.
- Excellent attention to detail — you catch the small things before they become big problems.
- Problem-solving mindset — when something isn't going as planned, you figure out a path forward.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Comfortable working with CRM software, scheduling tools, and general office technology.
- Self-motivated and reliable — you can manage your time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with property maintenance, construction, or trades is a plus but not required.
- Must have reliable transportation for occasional property inspections.
- Must reside in the Huntsville, AL metro area.
